Flanders, a member of the Highland Ward, Ogden East Stake, has been called to servo as a member of the general board of Relief Society , announced the Relief Society general presidency . Mrs. Flanders is married to Edward Dean Flanders, and is the mother of four children. She is a daughter of Conrad H. Jenson and Olive C. Belnap. Her most recent church position has been that of stake YWMIA president of the Ogden East Stake. She served as a mis- sumary in the Northern California Mission 1941-4and has been Relief Society president in two wards. She also served on the Relief Society board of the Ogden East Stake, Mrs. Flanders attended Weber Slate College and received her B.A. degree from the University of Utah. She received her M.A. degree from the University of Chicago, pnd has worked as a volunteer for AYUDA in Cunen, Guatemala. . . . from Ogden Asay. He stresses the idea that the family is the unit of exaltation, and that genealogy and temple work go with an organization. However, he also has a chapter dealing with those good family members who might not yet be members of the church, and how they are integral members of the family and would want to do genealogy for other reasons. But in this newest work of Dr. Cheesman, it presents the teachings of Joseph Smith, sole translator of the gold plates, about the book and its coming forth to the world.
