Board Meeting By LAVOR CHAFFIN Education Editor Business was mixed with Christmas music and a bit of nostalgia at the last meeting of Salt Lake Citys Board of Education Tuesday night. The music was provided by the East High School Madrigal singers directed by Mrs Ruth Funk. The nostalgia came in responses from seven board members Pres. Robert R. Sonntag, Vice Pres. William W. Cannon, Mrs. June Y. Orme, S. Perry Lee, L.R. Gardiner Jr Glen A. Lloyd ana Miss Ada L. Burt whose terms expire Dec. 31. It was their last board meeting. Also retiring from the board, but absent Tuesday night, are Robert M. Christensen and J. Stanley Russon. Although the session was essentially routine, it was an historic mee.ting.
