conference there were present elders ale and brown of the presidency other leading elders and the superintendents and tbell counselors of the ward institutions after the usual opening exercises the singing by the children the statistical tib cal eal and financial reports were read between four and five hundred children are enrolled in these there valuable institutes this was followed by i a most excellent pro gramme which devel developed ond okd a very verv terr verr nattering battering natt ering improvement in the chi children the superintendent i represented khz their r various charges as steadily improving and expressed much satisfaction and happiness in their labors in the afternoon our good faith ful sisters of bf the beijer societies held their conferences confer encel when reports of a very satisfactory nature were given in the evening we held our quarterly priesthood meeting we were favored with the presence of apostles wilford woodruff and john H smith the presidents of quork
