Dollars and Sense, m the May 26 paper deserves a response The paragraph on the circumstances of the death of the elder Rodale may be accurate, but added nothing to the content of the article. The statement concerning Prevention Magazine, to be charitable, is untrue. While the paragraph may be accurate reporting, it were better left unsaid My only interest, other than that of fair play, is as one of 1,700,000 subscribers to Prevention. I try to keep up wuth the latest in nutritional information, and find this magazine a leader in its field While some of the letters to the editor may reveal wild and unsupporta-bl- e ideas, I can remember no article concerning nutrition which has not been fully substantiated by references to medical journals or to clinical studies Indeed, the thrust of Rodale Press has been to get our governmental regulatory agencies to do their jobs If Ms Wadley has had any knowledge of the battles which have taken place on such things as labeling the To the editor am only one, but are many less vocal citizens who are amazed and disgusted with the continued demands of some people in public service for more money and more benefits and privileges.
