The Alemannia A team won the USA championship earlier this spring. Saturday they traveled to Denver in a battle Mountain for the Rocky championship. The Denver Kickers blew a lead, win then hung on for a over Alemannia A. : Saturday the Alemannia kick crew leaves for the German series. One game is also scheduled for Switzerland. ; Where Utah soccer Association clubs were formerly built along country ties, the recent move has been to emphasize ability, not nationality. Hence, where Alemannia A was once a German team, it now consists of three natives of Germany, two from Denmark, two from Holland, one from England, one from Scotland and one from Switzerland. ; The tours are not new to local soccer teams. Alemannia A flew to Germany two years ago and Hollands plans to play in Amsterdam next year. The touring Is also reciprocal. A soccer crew from Berlin will be in Salt Lake City on June 29 to meet local soccerites.
