Cannon, former president of the Hollywood, Pasa-den- a and San Fernando Stakes, died Jan. 25, at his home in Glen-dalCalif., at age 75. He was a prominent attorney in Southern California. His father, Abram H. Cannon, was a member of the Council of the Twelve, and his grandfather, George Q. Cannon, was a member of the First Presidency. e, New Temple Schedule t i A new schedule has been announced for Swedish and German speaking sessions at the Salt Lake Temple on Saturday Feb. 10. A chapel service for the Swedish session will be held at 8 a.m., with the recording of names from 7:45 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. A chapel service for the German session will be conducted at 9 a.m. with the recording of names from 8:45 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. . Chapel Dedications The Beaver 2nd Ward Chapel, Beaver (Utah) Stake, was dedicated Jan. 28 by Elder Mark E. Petersen of the Council of the Twelve. Grant 8th and 12th Wards Chapel, Grant Stake, Salt Lake City, will be dedicated Feb. 18, by President Hugh B. Brown of the First Presidency. Three other dedications of chapels in the United Slates and England Include: Grimsby Branch Chapel, North British Mission; Palmetto Branch Chapel, Atlanta Stake. Palmetto, Ga. ; Rochdale Branch Chapel, Manchester, England. Dedication dates will be announced later. Addresses Scout Leaders of die First Council of the Seventy Elder addressed 1,500 Scout leaders and their families at an awards dinner Jan. 23 at the Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, Calif. Silver Beaver awards were presented to five Scouting leaders at the banquet Marion D.
