The News totally ignored the words of Sgt Patience when making the statement that young people are less able to handle beer-SPatience said someone at 18 who can't handle it can't handle it at 21 Now who should know more about this point An editorial writer for the News or Sgt Patience? Nov I don't vant to gpt into the age-olargument one hears during his high school years or sees In a tenth grade English essay Everyone knows the argument: If you can be drafted into the military you should be able to buy beer am not concerned with that argument or others similar to If I would stfengly urge Cache Valley's representatives in the state legislature to look carefully at the illogical words of the Deseret News and the statements made by Sgt Patience and the commissioners before they discuss lowering the beer drinking age fd 20-ye- 'MAYBE wey fflFTVF HOT E4TNS BECAUSE uam m lettocb boycott " ©COLLEGE MEDIA SERVJCES'BOX Y CA9A709 ar ld !d ds Highrisers - by Ray Cornia gt d 1 Kent Lauer Managing Editor Staff Editor Rich LoRocco writers Managing Editor Kant Lauer Stan Andrews News Editor Cindy Ford Linda Backstrom Sports Editor Stan Murray Frank Coats III Wire Editor Dave Howell Linda LoRocco GWy Ostler Editor Sherry Anderson Linda Perry Lila LeBaron Kevin Phillips Copy Editor Koran Morrison Kent Perry Editor Barbara Rattla Copy Valerie Me Cun® Costlaton Sogers Photographar Laura Starrett Photograph® r Robert Wlkl® Entertainment Editor Day® Kingham Tilly Wilber Ed larweh Lay-owoman Nancy Savag® Writers Doug Robinson Jan Lee Jay Wamsley Robert George Tim Gurrist ®r Business Manager Chert Powers Randy Hendricks Ad Saleswoman Kimi Eyre Doug McCulloch Ad Saleswoman Pauline Summers Stan Murray Kim Olsen Secretary Elolse Hale Secretary Marsha Bowen lyn Smith Part-tim- On-camp- ut ’ YEA LITTLE IT'S GREAT BUT MY BROTHER RETIRED AS JUST A PLUMBER |
