It often seems as though it does There was a quote in today’s that read: “How paper (SL a man who is hawith deal do you ted but loves? It was inevitable that we’d have to kill Martin Luther King” That same statement was made back in the first century Only the name was different Men didn’t understand him either and they feared him so they were constantly plotting to realize that errors are and have been made and that no system is infallible We also realize that a significant number of students and faculty purchase the Blue Book each year and it is at their request that it is published In the past ASUSU funds were allocated to defray part of the publication costs him But he loved them Jl anyway His name was Jesus This past year the cost of producing the Blue Book was carried almost entirely by Blue Key Each book cost $1 23 to print and was sold to the student body for $100 Admittedly a great deal of advertising was sold to offset this loss but if one considers the hours of work needed to produce the book it hardly makes the financial rewards a bonanza Nonetheless as long as students and faculty show an interest in maintaining a student directory and lives on even now He still loves and men still hate Him Stop a minute and ask yourself We National Honor will continue to Fraternity Blue Key publish an annual Blue Book of Nazareth Jesus knew they were going to kill Him and yet He said “Greater love has no one than this that one lay down his life for his friends” Jesus gave in willingly Jesus didn’t stay in the grave though He rose in newness of life — “Why?” Bill Wolfe 496-58-67- Barbara Abbott 357-44-43- John Abbott 528-74-92- Frank King 278-54-87- Roger Tew Blue Key President Dennis Roach 532-46-23- 19 |
