try to please Part of what we at Student Life would like to accomplish this year is to make the paper a little more informative about what is happening at USU We believe that probably our biggest obligation is to disseminate the information that students need to know In keeping with this we have made a few changes in our content such as the announcements above the On Campus section the list of the week's activities (page 4 today) and the list of people who might be better off if they don't bring their car on campus or pay their five or more traffic tickets (also on page 4) And we try to give students adequate warning of such times deadlines things as the drop-adand are and other dates that very forgetimportant table to students Many of the experiments that we have and are trying with the paper came about through suggestions from people who have absolutely no connection with the newspaper And we at Student Life not only take these suggestions but we solicit them If we can get input from knowledgable and creative students and faculty members we believe that everybody will benefit from it So if you have an idea (other than the suggestion that Student Life be used exclusively for wiping Junior's rear end as some have said) which you would like to see us do give us a call We don't promise we can do it but we are trying to improve the paper for the benefit of all students You
