Jim Ferrell 526-70-51- We are' really looking forward to summer quarter Now at least we might be able to find a parking place and get a little use out of our most valuable parking stickers Owing enough money between the two of us for parking tickets to pay for a quarter’s tuition we are debating about fall showing up quarter However knowing that anyone who suckers for a parking sticker will probably sucker for another year of parking hassles will most likely behere next year really Here’s hoping for better parking next year Brad Larsen 17 528-86-60- 55 Rod Galloway Grant Lowell 518-68-77- 528-94-73- 96 73 help to make a university experience more challenging and more rewarding for the students that attend this institution Discourteous employes Editor Humiliated Editor Student Life: Student Life: I think that it’s time that Utah Displaced priorities seen with budgets case of displaced priorities has once again come forward with the preparation for the 1974-7ASUSU budget With the budget proposed for the coming year flagrant disregard has been shown for the number of students served through programs funded by ASUSU In an attempt to trim from all submitted budgets a disproportionate emphasis has been placed on areas which include only a small minority of University students All enrolled students pay activity fees and while some should be turned over to groups such as Forensics which directly involves about 15 students this amount should be minimal The suggested $2000 to be given Forensics is equal to the amount to be allotted Associated Women Students which serves the 3000 plus women of USU Forensics justifies it by saying their debate program acts as a recruitment program for the campus Couldn't this money be put to more practical use by serving the students who have to pay it in fees? An allocation of $2800 to the International Student association is also disproportionate According to a former ISA secretary a major part of the year's allocation ot $jjuu was spent on two parties that the association held while the $500 profit from the Internat iona! Student banquet was donated for a loan fund for foreign students Students do not willingly pay activity fees only to turn right around and repay for the events in which they are involved while their fees are given to others for trips in the name o'f high school recruitment or parties for satisfaction personal A 5 V I Hi H ( State University administrators start looking at some of the office workers which they employ The office workers should be a lot more courteous to the I am applying for summer work in Logan and today I got completely humiliated by an employer I got the card from the personnel office and then phoned the gentleman to see if I could make an appointment to see him students After all who’s paying their salaries and keeping them He just told me to drop in After employed?
