is being established in what was formerly the men’s lounge of the commons building Materials will all be in the field of home economics although the Moore children’s library collection will be located there temporarily A periodical branch library ' containing all college journals 1953 will be located in the south basement room of the Union An attendant will be on duty daily from 8 to 5 and periodicals circulated on a limited time schedule Available space for study will make it similar to other campus branch libraries Ample lighting to every table in every corner of the main library’s large reading room is promised The room is being relighted with a new fluorescent system and is also being redecorated and repainted New blinds are also part of the effort being roade to make it a
