"Winifred” Cannon led the discussion and opened it with an extemporaneous speech expounding certain indefinite and uninteresting subjects for the pleasure of the audience and to occupy the time The only parts of the program that had been prepared beforehand were the announcements which were given by the Faculty members and Student Body "Winifred” stated that Dart of the program had been left out but we are wondering what happened to the rest of it Floyd Johnson played two piano solo’s and Marrion Hussey gave a reading Very good Mr Cannon then came out and described to us the senior jackets (as if we could not see them for ourselves) He then decided to have the program extemporaneous and called for volunteers Lois Lunt plavcd a piano solo “Goodnight Sweetheart” Allen Hansen then got his uke-le- le and proceeded to give us his interperation of how Maurice Chevalier sang He sang “It’s a great life if you don't weaken” and "Livin’ in the moonlight” also sang Clyde Jorgenson and “Goodnight Sweetheart” “Kiss Me Goodnight not Goodbye” He was accompanied by Lois Lunt The next part of the conversation was a request for Gladys Anderson It came from the rear of the room from some one who wanted to help the program to be a good one She sang “I'm Thru With Love” and then for sentimental reasons because of fond memories she sang "I Surrender Dear" The Impromptu music numbers were very well rendered and much credit is due them but if the Seniors cannot give anything better than anim--propt- u program the Lord help the Freshies when they give their program NUMBER fjew Hockey
