We think that so far this season the team is showing progress with each game. They learned a few things in the Ricks game and put them to good use against Idaho State and especially Western Montana. Needless to say, the Parsons can give the old college try against Rocky Mountain College tomorrow. If they never win another game this season, we know the team will be in there trying. Being of an egotistical nature, we know the Parson is read by virtually every student on campus. We wonder why then there are no letters to the editor. We have just decided the paper must be perfect, the student council the same way, and ditto for several of the other select orga nizations on campus. Maybe certain persons and groups, who shall remain unnamed, have struck fear into the hearts of the valiant student body of Westminster. Either people are afraic to air their gripes, or they are completely content, or they are ignorant. Which category do you fall into? , Passing the word verbally does not have the effect the printed wore has. Will this possibly stir our noble readers into action? Oh dont worry, its against our principles but we will run anonymous letters also. ' - To quote professor about a well known and highly ranked public official'in the State of Utah. I can understand any one bom in ignorance, but one who knowingly cultivates it, is beyond me. May we say here, we will continue to pay our income taxes as will many other people We must also tip our hat to those hardy few who dare to venture into the uncertain field of education in Utah. 4 serviced while IN CLASS O Farther? It was moved and passed that the money be taken from the Student Lounge Improvement Fund to replace the flowers in the Student Lounge. Discussion on buying the soft drink machine was postponed until next week, when a report will be given containing all , the details of the sale. It. was stressed that all Student Council sponsored activities have to be cleared through the calendar committee just as anything else and also the lounge must be left clean after such activities. The report on renting the Student Lounge revealed that the Administration was willing to pay cleaning, damages, and to have someone there at the time of the activity to open it up, watch for misuse and colse it afterwards. It was decided to place a fee of $10 upon any group that wanted to rent the lounge with the stipulation tht they do not go behind the counter except to use the washing facilities and that no one should use the kitchen, it was also decided that a campus group should be charged for cleaning if there is a dance, or if an activity is held Saturay night or Sunday.
