Instead of the usual editorial, I would like to insert in this column a request of the student body with regard to the Etosian pictures. John Wach has been using every available minute of his time to take the individual pictures so that preparation of material for the annual wont fall behind schedule. All of us, at one time or another, receive a notice in our mail boxes to report to Mr. Farleys room at a certain time on a certain day. It is true that for good reasons, but there are some cant keep the appointments others who neglect the whole affair. To the latter this article is directed. As we all know, the year books we get in our four years of college are four books which, we cherish for most of our lif. (International Relations Club, to the uninitiated) have given much educational enjoyment to those who have attended them in the weeks since the beginning of the term. Under the able counsel of Dr. Poulton and Prof. Ferguson, the discussions and talks have brought out many significant points concerning the background and problems inherent in the confusing world situation today. Our club is the Westminster organchapter of tfie nation-wid- e ization sponsored by the Carnegie Foundation for World Peace. The purpose of this group is to promote peace through understanding and education. There are chapters on most university and R. At our first meeting in September, Virginia Ramsey officiated in her capacity as President, a post to which she was elected last spring. Therefore, we strongly urge anyone interested to attend our next meeting and become part of this important and interesting organization. Vice-Presiden- FALL PLAY CHARMS AUDIENCES Village Green, a was presented by the Westminster Players December 1st and 2nd at Converse alj. The play, written by Carl Allensworth, takes place in the small town of North Oxford, New Hampshire, in November just before election. The play centers around Judge Homer Peabody, excellently portrayed by Dave Steele. Judge Peabody, who has been defeated in eight previous state legislature Elections, is determined to win this one, no matter what. Mickey Richardson played the part of iMrs. Peabody, who loves her husband despite his untiring efforts to become a member of the legislature and go to Concord. Joy Brown did a fine job as three-act-comed- y, years until we will be far from the school and the friends we have gained here. Many times we will pick up our Etosians and bring back memories of college days, and the incidents and people connected with them. Between Jeremiahs efforts to become a great artist and Judge Peabodys ambition to be a legislator, the play is one hilarious incident after another. Each instant was filled with good, wholesome entertainment right up to the smashing climax. Judge Peabody wins the admiration of the! towns people and is assured of winning the election; Jeremiah receives recognition as an artist; he and Harriet reunite, and the play ends on a happy note. W. A. A. Orchesis is now practicing for the Juggler of Notre Dame, which will be presented in Chapel on December 18th. The group has presented it once for the Mothers Club on December 4th. Leola Jorgensen will again show her talents as the Juggler. The others in the cast are: Helen Austin, the Madonna; Lou Ann Birkbeck, Louise Jorgenson, Patty Moore, Joan Patton, Pat Kinlock, Winifred Pittman, Beverly Turner, and Ruth Caroll, Merrymakers ; Barbara Pruit, RGean Thompson, Ruth Turner, Dianne Burns, Joan Rogers, and Betsey Burns, the Monks.
