Show Parsons Downed in Carbon and Snow Football Tilts Parsons Lose to Dixie College The night was cold and windy, when the Westminster Parsons opened their 1950 football season at Price, Utah. With a warm cheering section to spur them on, the Parsons came back in the second half to score two touchdowns, proving the potential strength of a team with the right spirit. The members of the team include: Bud Wise (captain), Bill Yager, Jim Denny, Bob (Curly) Wilson, Blaine Beardall, and Kent Leverich. The league play Is still quite young, and up to now the fellows have managed to hold their own; they are at the top of the league. Besides, Bud Wise has the high individual score with 251, and the high individual three game total. The team is sponsored by the school.
