Lev-eric- -- ll During the half, President Steele will dedicate the Memorial Triangle in the Northeast cornier of the Stadium, and Mrs. Georgy T. Hansen will unveil the bronze plaque to honor the twenty Westminster men who gave their lives in World War II. Twenty trees have been planted by Mr. and Mrs. Ilansen in Memorial Triangle to pay tribute to thetse men. The parents of the Gold Star men are invited to take part in the dedication. The alumni letter men will also participate. Student Body officers from Car-rol- l College have been invited to be guests at Westminster for the day and will be introduced at the half. Jack Armstrong, President of the Westminster Student Body, will introduce the rest of Westminsters Student. Body officers. George Hall and Bill Yager will introduce Minnie, the Westminster mascot. Open house at Ferry Hall fits into Homecoming activities between the football game and the dance sponsored by the seniors. The girls of Ferry Hall with the assistance of Miss Ruby Horn, Dean of Women, will be ready to receive guests between 7:30 and 8:30. Alumni students, fac- - WESTMINSTERITE CHOSEN MISS FLAME" Meet the celebrity ! Thursday evening, October 5, was a great event in the life of Lou Ann Birkbeek. At this time, Miss Birkbeek, a popular and very pretty sophomore, became Miss With this title Flame of 1950. the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Iv. II. Birkbeek of Park City received many gifts and invitations, sponsored by the Salt Lake Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Fire Department. Lou Aim appeared on numerous shows and television.
