Show WHAT ABOUT NEXT YEAR? The juestion as to next years athletics at Westminster College can be partially solved by the number of lettermen and this years freshmen that are returning to form the nucleus of the various teams . In football, Coach Cooper can depend on such stellar stars as Paul Brown, Jack Fowles, Jerry Doug Thurman, Bill Zogg, George Dimas, Frank Kle-kaJames Pollock and Ray All have seen plenty of action this year. In the backfield will be Paul Brown, aged but still plenty of fight left in him. Brownie is an elusive runner, good Proctor, s, Mc-Bet- h. kicker and accurate passer and when all attributes are counted together, Brownie has a good leadership quality to boost the moral of the team. Doug Thurman has the speed and drive 'that will probably make him one of the outstanding halfbacks in the ICA Conference. Rugged Klekas and lanky Bill Zogg will be back to fill in the end Tom Shaffer, Pollock positions. and MacBeth will add a lot of weight and durance to the line. WESTMINSTER HOSTS TO ICAC TRACK MEET Westminster College will play hosts to the Intermountain Collegiate Athletic Conference track meet, May 1:2, on Dane Hansen Memorial Field. Another good man to have around is rugged Alex Eliopolous. Alex plays a brand of ball that makes him unique and quite useful. Alex can jump and can shoot from a moving position inside the key and consistently hit all kinds of circus shots that give the opDefensive posing players the Blues. Playing and winning their singles matches were: Jim Denny, Peter Prout and Robert Christensen. Westminsters doubles teams were made up of Jim Denny and Byron Burmester, and Pete Ota and Robert Christensen. A return match with Weber to be played this week has been cancelled because of weather.
