of the dedication of the new schoolhouse school house at mill creek which took place yesterday under the supervision of the trustees it mil ler J hill and D mcallister McAll isten the meeting was called to order by bishop B R 11 miller iller liler who made some opening remarks and explained the object of the meeting the choir sang a hymn and elder alexander hill offered the dedicatory prayer which was very appropriate to the t e occasion the building is fifty feet long twenty eight it wide and fourteen feet high between flo floor orand and ceiling it is well lighted with large windows it is a frame building sided with rustic redwood and well painted inside and out it is a credit edit to the inhabitants of that hool hooi school bool district this is the third tard schoolhouse that has been built in mill creek ward within two years and the amount spent by the trustees exceeds which speaks well for the inhabitants of mill creek in their endeavors to promote education among the rising
