pacific railroad from mr shaw we wo gleaned the following particulars art feula leula rs concerning the trip from omza omaha to salt lake the train on which he came through left omaha a week last saturday about half past 11 in the morning and came alon aion along all night as far as grand ysland island that ni night gif tat at 12 a terrible snow storm came on at north platte and detained the train considerable between there and sidney bidney which latter place was not reached until half past ten the next morning instead of 7 the schedule time they speedily left sidney and with two extra engines attached to the train ran along to a point about three I 1 miles west of pine bluff a distance of sixty nive five cr seventy miles reaching hinc hing there at four in the afternoon when the train ran off the track the conductor conductor mr william woodruff walked back to the station at pine fine bluff that night and the next morning brought a special engine i and pulled the train back to pine bluff on reaching there orders were received to return to sidney and they lay at the latter place two days the train left sidney on wednesday night and preceded by a wrecking train to clear the track reached cheyenne on an thursday morning they lay at cheyenne until late in the afternoon and then left for sherman reaching there thene in they were detained thene there until about half
