| Show SOCIAL last evening the high school gave davs ii a grand Chilst mas social which was participated in by about persons invitations were issued to the members member of the board of education and to the faculty facility of the the decorations were the most elaborate ever attempted at any function heretofore given by the high school arid and consisted ot of red arid and gheen paper and snow hanging froni from the ceiling in the center of the floor door of the gymnasium stood a mammoth christmas ti lice ce loaded down with presents each one receiving a stocking of popcorn n and a present sent of some kind this feature created any amount ot of amusement because of the nature of the hie presents tables were set in the hall the refreshments consisting of chocolate sandwiches sand ice cream ani and calce partners for supper were drawn by tile he girls placing a bow in fit an envelope which the boys drew games gaines were played in the hall ands and dancing was indulged in in the gym the opera house orchestra furnishing the music the students ire are past masters in fit the art of getting up lip successful socia ls and all who were out last night report having had t the lie time of the season |
