county I 1 was very forcibly struck with the many improvements made there within the last two years a ailef brief notice of which may be interesting wanship manship Wan ship the county seat is situated on the mouth bf silver creek and has recently been much improved by the erection of several good and substantial buildings among these is a very nice stone school house in which a full school is how iakow being taught at hoytsville quite a large settlement has been formed by the people having halving to move together on account of indian difficulties in n 1866 here also they have a good school established coalville Co alville the largest and most flourish ing town in the county has over six i hundred inhabitants many of whom judging by the Improve improvements ments menta recently made are enterprising citizens they have the most substantial and comfortable meetinghouse meeting house according to the inhabitants of any settlement that I 1 t have seen in the Terri territory tog A large band nd well conducted school is is now being taught by bros broeg EI nathan elnathan and joseph eldredge of this city among other commendable enterprises rises the citizens of coalville Co room is well furnished ill lii in which tho books of the library are at present kept and distributed to the public I 1 was informed however that a suitable building has been erected for the library
