have the society of prophets and apostles who reveal tous to us the principles and laws of life it is the right of him who presides over the church to dictate us in all things pertaining to the ney it has his been thought that fruit trees will not nourish flourish in round hound valley this however r is a mistake peter boyce has p planted la out an apple orchard 0 of f some fifty or sixty trees which are now noty three years from the bub bud bud and have made an excellent growth and look healthy some of the trees bloomed this year ana and many of them are set for fruit next year it is considered by those who are competent to judge that the lake from which the round bound valley settle settie I ment receives its irrigating waters can be made to supply water sufficient cint to ir irrigate 1000 acres of land if used judiciously and with care while only acres are now under cultivation it seams that the borders of that lake are used for grazing purposes and there is an objection to making a reservoir of the lake on this account but this need not be raised as an objection when we consider that the bases of the mountains east and west from round valley to the sevier are covered with an abundance of bunch grass THE STORM sept ath in the night the storm broke upon us and it rained and snowed incessantly until near noon today to day at S some of the company started out and all
