She failed Field Sobriety test. A Portable Intoxilyzer registered . 30. Subject was issued a citation to appear in city court and released to 1 a friend. 31 603 Did a follow up on a report of a Suspicious Person. Unable to find anything wrong. - DUI Booked an adult male into the Utah Co. Jail after being stopped and given the Sobriety Field Test which he failed, lntoxilyzer Test registered .250. man was cited to appear The in Provo District Court. 32903 - Male complainant reported the Theft of a Wall Space Heater, valued at $ 00 from a closet in a residence where he had been working. When he left at night he made sure all doors were locked. When he returned this morning the heater was gone. When the officer stopped a driver for a violation, a routine check with Dispatch fellow from disclosed the 31 year-old Salem had two No Bail Warrants. Giving the officer False Information didnt help. Subject was transported and booked into the Utah Co. Jail. Theft454 Nebeker Lane 1 -- 31 703 When school personnel found the male in the high school during school hours the police were called. The boy who is not a student at the school had ld previously been warned to stay away from the school was arrested and referred to Juvenile Court for Trespassing. In a separate incident, three male juveniles were arrested at the high school and referred to Juvenile Court charged w ith Disorderly Conduct. 31 803 Invesfgated a complaint of Criminal Mischief. 31 903 DCFS (Division of Children and Family Services) with police responded to a report of Abuse of a child. 32003 ld - 324-0- 3 Complaints and reports of tw'o alleged Sexual Abuse cases and one of Physical and Sexual Abuse being investigated bv DCFS and police. 32503 Information will be sent to city attorney by the investigating officer for determination of charges will be fded in a Domestic Violence case involving a child. Another Physical Abuse of a child being investigated. The family pet, a dog, reported lost in July has been found and returned to its owner. 32603 Police were contacted by a person at the Jr. High School with information that a student allegedly was in Drug Violation. Officer verified the student from Elk Ridge was in Possession of Marijuana. An arrest was made and the girl referred to Juvenile Court. 14-year-- 32703 ThreatUse of a Dangerous Weapon Class A Misdemeanor. Male, age 20, transported and booked into the Utah Co. Jail on two outstanding in a Fight -- - A seeing the Historical Church preservation project. The location will be called Universe of Fun and Learning. The newer building w ill be cosmetically fixed up to blend in with the old church. This building will be known as The University. This facility will be used for a variety of education and recreation classes for 40-year-o- ld ld one-year-o- Street in Payson needs restoration and fix up. As a community you can help to contribute to provide its historical restoration. Universe of Fun and Learning, Inc. is asking for donations from each home and business in Payson towards the cause of restoring the historical church and site. Plans include remodeling and landscaping to bring this historic site back to life and become a functional service to the Payson community. The church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Universe of Fun and Learning Inc. is over- 33003 Investigated tw'o Abandoned 911 calls. 2 Bad Checks being investigated. 2 Business Alarms - both false 33103 Assisted the Ambulance. Handled seven Traffic Violations. A family disturbance, verbal argument. Assisted the Fire Department. 4103 Advised of a Drug Offense. Student was attempting to sell a white powdery substance to other students for $15 each pill. Claimed it was pills cut from cocaine. The boy from Santaquin was arrested and referred to Juvenile Court. A field test did not show' Cocaine in the substance. TheftHigh School Foreman of Electric reported that a Milwaukee Magnum 12 Power Drill was stolen from the trailer office at the work site. Value, $150. Information listed with NCIC. Charges pending investigative follow up. Officer on patrol spotted a fight in Tri-Pha- se progress near Little Caesars Pizza. Separated and interviewed individuals involved. No charges filed at this lime against the two boys who were fighting. Parents were contacted. Police responded to two Suspicious Circumstances. Unable to locate any problem. Burglary from a trailer at 160 W. 800 S. Amount of stolen property $1,350. A Sony PlayStation and games, DVD Player, Sony Speaker Box and numerous other items. Referred to Investigations. 16-year-- reunions, etc. The 1882 Church will be restored and will be known as The Social Hall. The Social Hall will be a place for recreation classes round dances, square dancing, games and activities, for all ages such as recreational dancing-mixesocials, etc. This will be available for community use for company events, wedding receptions, cultural arts events, family reunions, etc. Between the two buildings w ill be a garden patio. There will be a greenhouse off of the back of the old church and the newer building called The Gardens Delight. This will have a Garden atmosphere and will be where organic gardening classes can be taught as well as classes on how to prepare yummy menus from foods from the garden. This Historic location is designed to bring a touch of laughter, hope, joy and inspiration to all groups of family and community. The location will be landscaped and be a functional location for community, according to Universe of Fun and Learning Inc. They are also looking at all other possibilities for any other historic grants, private foundation grants as well as funds from private donations from citizens, businesses and other interested parties throughout the county or state of Utah. Universe of Fun and Learning is incorporated. Their goal is to have the Federal tax exemption 501(c)(3) status within a few months or sooner. It is very important to have the Name, Address, Phone , (if you have one) and the amount of all donations attached with the donations so a receipt can be sent to you. Please make a note on the check or money order that it is for the Historic Church site project. There is a considerable amount of money that needs to be raised to complete this project and they feel that with the support of local citizens, businesses, grants, private foundations, etc. this project can be accomplished very nicely and provide a nice facility and service back to the Payson community for all ages and family. Universe of Fun and Learning Inc. appreciates all and any contributions. These contributions can be in the form of money or supplies and services donated by businesses, contractors, etc. As an example a photography business has offered their services as a fundraiser. They will be taking a framed 10x13 mA portrait for only $16.95. When 100 families participate, the 1882 r, E-m- ail alarms. Domestic Violence - Verbal Only. Junior High. With Mothers Day approaching quickly, this would be a great time for this project. Pictures will be taken at the 1882 Historic Church site at 160 South Main Street, Payson. A Studio will be set up there for inside professional studio portraits. Old Tyme pictures will also be available. Old Tyme costumes are available or bring your own.
