I believe a good education, coupled with an effective and affordable recreational program, will not only keep our citys youth out of the streets, but on the right path. I have the utmost respect for our youth and their families. It is the duty of to insure the future of our youth. City Council-membecity should work for the youth. The youth should be considered a top priority, the considering has growth that and will I son-in-la- council-membe- council-membe- w r. rs rs Santaquin undergone continue to undergo. Along with my concerns for the youth I also feel growth is an important issue. I feel that growth is inevitable. With that knowledge I want to make sure that Santaquin has adequate, affordable services that can be provided to our residents who already live here Santaquin City has recently annexed a large amount of land to be developed. I would propose that Santaquin wait until the planned developments are finished before we approve even more. This would give Santaquin the assurance that it needs to make sure that it can provide services for our g community When the slated development is finished, we should be providing services to the entire at city efficiently; only this point, it will be a proper time to look at bringing more growth into Santaquin. I feel that the new growth should provide Santaquin with a healthy balance between res dential commercial and light industry. In closing I would like to add that I believe that this is the best place in die world to live. I will always call Santaquin my home, this is why I have lived here my entire life. The people and the surroundings make Santaquin a great to live. place rapidly-growin- |
