If you havent been before, youre in for a real treat! MONDAY - May 25 end of this school year. Anna Money, Barnett Elementary School, will be retiring and Peteetneet School for 8 years. She Anna has been the secretary at Barnett for 20 years, has also worked for Bank of America in California. She describes her job as doing the usual and the unusual office duties a secretary deals with each day. Anna has also been the secretary for Payson Community Theatre for 13 years, and an active member of the Peteetneet Memorial Garden Development. Mrs. Money enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, canning, traveling, and the JAZZ. Anna is married to Reed Money. They are the parents of Ken Money, Dan Money, and Karen Money Maestas. They have 10 exciting grandchildren. Kens wife, Mina, is a teacher at Canyon Elementary. Ken is a teacher at Springville High and his wife Kristen is a teacher at Mapleton Elementary. Annas comments concerning retirement was, "I will always feel a very deep love for all the wonderful people I have met and worked with during the past 28 years with Nebo could anything be more School District. To love what you do and feel that it matters-ho- w fun?" -9 PAYSON SENIOR CENTER WEDNESDAY - Anna Money Retiring As Secretary At Barnett Elementary School at the MEMORIAL DAY. CENTER CLOSED. THURSDAY - May 28 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Skin Cancer Clinic. Public is invited. Dr. Miner will be at the Center to give examinations and make referrals, if needed. FRIDAY - May 29 11:30 a.m. Banquet. Wayne Anderson will be entertaining us. Menu: Roast Beef with Gravy, Baked Potato with Sour Cream, Green Beans, Fruit Salad, Angel Food Cake, Whole Wheat Roll with Margarine FRIDAY-Jun- e 5 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Health Fair in the Banquet Hall. Well have some neat exhibitions and information. Plan to come and stay awhile. Call early for lunch reservations. Box Lunches will be available from 11:30 to 12:30. Rebecca Murdoch Anderson To Give Recital Rebecca Anderson will be performing her Masters Recital on May 27 at 7:30 p.m. It will be held in the Madsen Recital Hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center. This recital is required in order to attain a Masters degree in piano performance. Rebecca has been studying the piano for eighteen years and is currently studying with Dr. Irene Peery. Rebecca received her Bachelors of Music from BYU in April of 1996. She has been involved in various musical activities throughout college. She has worked with the Utah Music Teachers Association for 5 years, and has given Master Classes and lectures in the area for various groups. She also speaks to youth groups concerning the value that music can have in their lives. Rebecca has been a graduate assistant at BYU, teaching group piano and first year keyboard skills for music majors. Rebecca has been involved in the Utah Valley Hospital Arts Group, the BYU Piano Festival, and has been a member of the Gina Bachauer Committee for the last two years. She enjoys teaching private piano students out of her home in Heber City. The recital is open to the public and is free of charge. Cello Students To Present Recital The cello students of Kristiana D. Silver will present their spring recital on Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at 6:30 p.m. in the Payson High School choir room. This performance is dedicated to the memory of the late Roger Drinkall. Those performing include Brian Holcomb, Coleen Murray, Daren Staheli, Mikki Ainge, Bradley Clark, David Blaney, and Kristiana Silver. They will present works by Saint-Saen- s, Telemann, Squire, Breval, Bach, and Faure.
