tors present were apostles john henry smith arid and rudger clawson president william richards ards of 0 the I 1 alagad stake arid and president peter bf hansen ot of the bear river stake presidency the meetings on oil saturday were marked for the excellent attendance a considerable increase cider the saturday meetings ut of three months previous the rain which fell ell saturday night anti and sunday morning had the effect of keeping many away from the sunday meetings the spirit ol of the sassi sessions was excellent cel lent the instructions were timely as well as valuable A in more ore detailed report ot of the meetings in ili their order Is i as follows SATURDAY MORNING the conference commenced by the choir singing the hymn lord let thy holy spirit now prayer was offered by elder M IN dalton alter after which the choir sang the hymn praed ei is the souls sine sincere ere desire pres oleen N stohl arose arid and expressed ills his pleasure at the large turnout he then spoke ot of the good conditions existing throughout the stake complimenting the people on oil their good deeds the work of the presiding officers has materially increased arid and the speaker felt that a good move had been made when the box elder stake was divided for the leason that the leading men ot of the stake had all they could do attending to cheit various duties spoke of the priesthood work and reported that the movement was proving a success in this stake ot of zion the high council is appointed to look after the priesthood and great good is being accomplished the acting teachers of the various wards are doing their duty more faithfully the saints ate aie paying and to date have paid more tithing than they did last year at this time pres prea stohl expressed it as his belief that
