Lyman, Chairman Kellie Fowers, Glade Jay Robbins to exchange vows Kellie Fowers and Glade Jay Robbins will exchange wedding vows in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple on December 12, 1980. The ceremony will be performed by President Ezra Taft Benson. A wedding breakfast at the Little America Hotel will follow the marriage. A reception will honor the couple that evening in the Santaquin Stake Center from 7:00 to 9:00 that evening. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Best men will be Mark D. Robbins, brother of the bride groom and Lynn J. Fowers, brother of the bride. The bride-tp-b- e is a graduate of Orem High School, and of L.D.S. Seminary. She was in the 1978 Utah County Dairy Royalty. She has attended Utah Technical College at Orem. Mr. Robbins graduated from Payson High School and L.D.S. Seminary. He served an L.D.S. mission to the New England area. He attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii and is presently attending B.Y.U. at Provo. The local CBS-Taffiliate covered the event from the phoned order ,to the baking of the cake to its delivery to a surprised client. Are you a good machine? how many Incidentally, machines can you name that dont wear out with use? sure 1 know, some of us are wearing out, but not through use. Good animals (and human machines) enjoy playing (use). The activity - play and use improves the animal when performed correctly. So what does this have to do with the high cost of living? you may ask. Most of us, in addition, lack hard manual labor, which all adds up to headaches, bowel problems, athritis, high blood pressure, heart attacks and a variety of mental disorders, to mention a few signs of a poor animal and a deteriorating machine. Internal changes take place: blood sugar gets mobilized for' increased energy, blood pressure goes up, your heart beats faster to supply extra fuel, adrenalin is secreted to dilate your pupils to help you see better and to excite your other senses. All of these physcal changes are fine if you discharge the build-up- . the emergency preparations, through activity. But most of us dont do this on a regular basis, yet we are being stressed and angered on a daily basis. The answer is clear: develop a play program that you will enjoy. Learn to enjoy what you do. It is important. Come to think of it, I dont know many really physically fit people with short fuses. Do you? ANGER GROWS Anger often builds up because it gets fed by frustrations unrelated to its true source. So if you have something you can regularly turn to for enjoyment, such as exercise, you will not feel you are forever being cheated. Exercise involves freedom of movement. It gives you room to breathe. It takes away the feeling of confinement, like the feeling of a caged animal. The roots of anger or tension are often found in that feeling. Exercise has a way of keeping us in touch with our limitations. Humility is a desirable quality unrelated to anger. Finally, exercise provides that needed muscle relaxant in the These form of blissful fatigue. muscles can affect your mind much more than you realize. Theres nothing like relaxation to help you get your attack organized. A good night's sleep, not being up tight, a clear head, and a fit body go a long way tow ard your search for happiness. Try it. |
