He was born Jan. 31, 1915 in Leland the son of George T. and Almana Ferris Atwood. He married Ila Huff Aug. 28, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended schools in Leland and Spanish Fork and after their marriage they made their home in Lake Shore, where he farmed and worked as a carpenter. They moved to Spanish Fork in April 1978. He was active in the LDS Church, working in Scouting, MIA and as a home teacher. He was a member of the penters Local No. Car1498. He is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters.
