Show Obituaries Thora Fisher David S. Cole Funeral services were held Saturday in Bakersfield, Calif, for David S. Cole, Dave 74, who died Sept. 16 of a heart attack in Riverside, Calif. He was the brother of Mrs. Ruby Stickney of Pay-so- Funeral services were held in the Spring Lake Saturday Ward Chapel for Thora Jones Fisher, 72, who died Sept. 18 at her home following a long n. illness. He was bom Feb 10, 1901, in Nephi to David and Sarah Elizabeth Coulson Cole. He married Bessie Ahlin in 1923, She was born Sept. 14, 1902, in Mercur, Tooele County, to Evan W'arriner and Mary Murchie Jones. She married Eldred Cook Fisher Jan. 7, 1925, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was active in the LDS Lake Church in the Spring She was a member Ward. and teacher in the DUP. Survivors include her husMrs. band, three daughter, Clayton (Mary) Bushnell and Mrs. James (Diane) Williams, both of Los Angeles; Mrs. of Quinton (Joyce) Elder Pro'ro; 36 grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters, Edward Jones of Palm Springs, Calif.; Byron Jones of Los Angeles; Mrs. thia Carter and Mrs. Flora Isgreen, both of Tooele; Mrs. Nellie Bossard of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Thelma Swain of West Covina, Calif, Burial was in Orem Cemetery. and they later were divorced He married Lois Buhm Sept. 23, i960 Mr Nephi Driggs, before was educated in He lived in schools. Idaho, for a short time mo' ing back to Utah. He lived in Santaquin and worked in the Eureka mines until he moved to California Cole in 1935. He is survived by his wife of Riverside, two sons and one daughter, J.D, Cole of Boron, Calif.; Don Cole of Laguna Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Blaine (Carol) Lofran of Norwalk, 11 Calif; two stepdaughters; nine greatggrandchildren; randchildren, and one other sister, Mrs. Ross (Gwen) Davis of Sprmgville. John C. Riley Funeral sen ices were conducted Monday in the Walker Mortuary for John Conway who Riley, 76, of Payson, died Sept. 17 in the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City after a long illness. He was born April 20,1899, in Huntington, Emery County, a son of John Henry and He Clarinda McKee Riley. married Christena Allen and they later were divorced. Mr Riley was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the American Legion. He was a memlier of the LDS Church.
