Show The Payson Chronicle, July 1, 1992, Page 4 Ty Detmer To Appear At Utah County Big O Tires Ty Detmer, 1989 Heisman Trophy Winner and Brigham Young University will be in Utah 3 kick off Big O 4 to and on July County Tires "All American" Campaign. Detmer will be making personal appearances and signing autographs at all five Utah County Big O Tires locations on July 3. The following is a schedule of those appearances: AMERICAN FORK, 748 East State Road, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. OREM, 703 North State, 10: 15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. PROVO, 1595 North 200 West, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. SPANISH FORK, 570 North Main, 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. PAYSON. 3 18 East 100 North, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Detmer will also be appearing in the Freedom Festival Parade in Provo on July 4 as part of the Big O Tires float entry. Detmer is the National Spokesperson for the Campaign. State Attend Four Boys this State year were Cory Broadbent, Boys who attended American Legion Boys Blakely Neff, Nathan Hancock, and Brandon Parks. Cory, who is from Santaquin, is student body president at Payson High School next year and was elected city counselor. Blakely, also from Santaquin, and Nathan were both elected to several offices. Brandon was state representative and elected to alternate national senator. The boys learned a lot about city, state, and federal offices, and had a lot of fun learning at Boys State. Sponsors were first Security Bank, Zions Bank, Kiwanis Club, firemen, Dougs Auto Parts, Wee BIu Inn, Jolley Joes Tires, Perma Bond, America Legion Post 48, Rayloc, Don Dixon, Fuel American, IFA, and Payson City Corporation.
