Sandwiches And Salads To Payson Coming COMING SOON. submarine sandwich chain, SUBWAY worlds SUBWAY Payson Community Theatre To Present "Fiddler On The Roof' Payson Community Theatre will be presenting the classic musical Tiddler on the Roof as its part of Payson Citys Onion Days Homecoming celebration. Open auditions are scheduled for Thursday evening, May 9, and Friday evening, May 10, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.ra. at Payson High School, 1050 South Main in Payson, The show will be presented August through September 2 at Payson High School. Director for this years production will be Mr. Brent Pickering of Springville. Mr, Pickering brings a wealth of theatre knowledge to PCT as he has both directed and been involved technically with a multitude of shows for B YU Hawaii campus and recently for Art City Community Theatre. He is a professional float designer and builder and has won numerous awards for his creations. The story of the J e wish milkman, Tevye, who has an ongoing conversation with God as the traditions of the little village of Anatevka are threatened, has won universal acclaim and appeal from audiences around the world. While the role of Tevye predominates, it will be Mr. Pickerings task as director to build an ensemble feeling among all those cast as the citizens of Anatevka, according to Theatre Board president David C. Dahlquist. All roles are open and there are parts for everyone in this show: singers, veteran theatre people, and amateurs with little or no dancers, stage experience. "If one wishes to get his feet wet in community theatre, there is no better show than Fiddler in which to do it," says Dahlquist. "There is much to be learned from the people of Anatevka, even in rehearsal . . .
