Payson City wants to give your summer fun a terrific and memorable finish this year. "Mom" and "Pop" there is something for d From tots to teens, from Mom and Pop to everyone during the huge Homecoming Golden Onion Days Celebratioa For the active there are the triathlon and 10K races, swim competition, water ballet, youth dance, water polo, coin toss in the swimming pool, best-ba- ll golf, horseshoe pitching contest, dunking, and helicopter rides. For those who would rather be spectators, all of those events can be enjoyed, but also add these: watching the childrens parade Saturday, September 1 ; watching the Mammoth Parade Monday, September 3; the talent show and band concerts in the park; visiting with friends, including those you havent seen in years; enjoying the flower and art shows and seniors ait and crafts in the Middle School; cheering the horse races at the track; watching air modelers at the Junior High on Saturday; the fireworks Friday at the race track; the Payson Community Theatre production "Annie" in the e horse pull Thursday night at the Cockleburr Riding Club Payson High auditorium; the Arena. And active or inactive, young or old-- all can enjoy the Kiwanis Chuck Wagon Breakfast early Monday and the wonderful food from different food booths and carnival concession stands. In addition to all this, there is a bazaar in the park, arts and crafts for children, and the downtown sidewalk sale. Families and friends all over America are planning their vacations. "This party was our way of showing our appreciation to our loyal diesel customers." York said, "The success of our new national franchise depends on how professional drivers feel about our truckstop.
