Mrs. Tibbie came to Payson on Christmas morning. They spent the day visitng at the Nay home and also going to the homes of Mrs. Nays children and grandchildren. Mrs. Tibbie returned home the following day. Mrs. Nays daughter, Mary Alice and her husband, (Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Peterson) have both been confined to the Utah Valley Hospital and are now improving. Erekson drove to Ogden on Tuesday to view the new Ogden Temple . Those accompanying her were Mrs. Ruby Meredith, Mrs. Violet Gold, Marjean and Phillip Erekson, and Brent Tanner. Mrs. Velda Mr. and Mrs. Max Bray of Belmont, California visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Finch when they came to attend the funeral in Provo of his mother. Mrs. Finch and her son LeBaron Robbins attended the services and other family members attended the viewing. Mr. and Mrs. Bray continued on to Aspen, Colorado to visit some of their family. Mr. Robert E. Finch has been confined to his home during the holidays because of influenza BANQUET January 29th but is reported improving. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rothe, their daughters Anna and Marilyn and Mrs. Rothe s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Spencer of American Fork attended a Holiday Recital on Tuesday evening at the 18th Ward Chapel in Salt Lake. The evening of classical music was a holiday gift to family members presented by Dr. Walter Gaisford of L.D.S. Hospital and his wife, both accomplished musicians. Mr. Gaisford played violin solos and his wife, Marie Ann rendered soprano solos, at the piano was assistand ing artist Steve Oldroyd. Dr. Gaisford is a cousin to Mrs. Rothe. After the concert family members enjoyed light refreshments and visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Bishop spent a week in Southern California, while in Los Angeles they visited with their sons and families, Mr. and Mrs. Dwaine Bishop and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bihop. Mrs. Ethel Hirst spent four days visiting in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hirst. While there they celebrated her birthday by going out to dinner. Mrs. Paul Meredith invited seventeen relatives including and grandaunts, cousins, mothers to help celebrate on her daughter Paulas seventh birthday on Thursday. During the Christmas weekend Mr. and Mrs. L.S. DeGraw were happy to have most of their children and grandchildren visit in their home. Those were: Mr. and Mrs. William Brailsford of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd DeGraw, of Sandy; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Draper of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Terry DeGraw of Payson; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald DeGraw of Farmington, New Mixico; and Mr. and Mrs. Dale of Morgan and their families. During Christmasday their daughter, LaDean (Mrs. Jack Smith) of Jefferson City, Missouri called. Their youngest son, Gary is still at home and joined in the festivities.
