The assessments hereby levied are for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing improvements on certain streets within said City consisting of 6100 sq. feet of concrete paving; 1800 sq feet of brick paving; 150 feet of brick bench; 12 wooden benches; 43 concrete benches; 7 refuse can holders; 11 street lights; 8 water devices with ponds, small dams, water wheel and interesting action by water; various instruction and direction signs; 107 car stalls; 3100 sq ft of painted pedestrian cross walk; 1 KIOSK structure which has benches, drinking fountain, phone booth, placque and public bulletin board; landscaping with top soil and earth mounds and turf in certain areas, containing 94 trees, 350 shrubs and 755 units of ground cover; miscellaneous stones which will be placed at areas to create aesthetic values, as well as in the pools of water; sprinkling system with main and lateral lines, control valves and sprinklers; and 2200 feet of gutter covering; patch and repair present curb, construction of new curb, move existing curb and sidewalks and do all other miscellaneous work necessary to complete the imjirovements in a proper workmanlike manner, and such other necessary construction incidental thereto adjacent to the said property and abutting and fronting upon the following streets within the boundaries of Special Improvement District No. 1970-- 1 in Payson City Utah, to wit: Payson main street from 100 North to 100 Soutlj street. Utah Avenue from 100 West street to 100 East street. Said assessments are hereby levied and assessed upon each of the blocks, lots, parts of blocks and lots, tracts or parcels of real property described in the said assessment list according to the extent that they front or abut on or are adjacent to the streets above mentioned and are specially benefited by the improvements thereon. Said assessments are levied at equal and uniform rates to the full depth of each parcel of real property as included in the District. An allowance on said assessments has been made for corner lots so that they are not assessed at full rate on both streets. The total cost of the improvements in said special improvement district is $110,777.76 of which total cost the Citys portion is $22,482.29 which protion includes that part of the overhead costs for which an assessment cannot be levied, if any, and the cost of making improvements for the benefit of to the property against which an assessment may not be levied, if any. The balance to be assessed owners of projierty affected or benefited by the improvements is $88,294.47 which is the total amount of the assessment hereby levied and which does not exceed in the aggregate of the sum of: (a) the total contract price for such improvements under contract duly let to the lowest and best responsible bidders therefore; (b) the reasonable costs of utility services, maintenance, labor, materials, or on any interim warrants issued equipment, if any; (c) the property price, if any; (d) the interest fifteen percent (15) of the not exceed to costs overhead (e) against the sjiecial improvement district; sum of (a), (b), (c) and (d). The Haesners purchased two horses from Glen and returned to their home. Thatchers also entertained Mr. and Mrs. Harley Schmidt and their family of six children from Peru, Indiana. During the weeks visit the family spent many enjoyable hours reminiscing with Mr. Thatcher on his years spent in their area on his mission.
