Show The L. C. Mark Winters To 6 Oth Anniversary The daughters of Mr. and Mrs L. Winter will be honoring their parents 60th wedding anniversary at an open house on August 10 from 6 to 8 p m at their home on 5081 Escondido (Entrance at 5160 South 13th C. East Out Our Window ) Mr. and Mrs. Winter first met at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho in August of 1919 and were married that next year on August 16, 1920. -- West Valley City, UT. Lee retired in 1965 and then spent much of his time in his workshop tinkering and fixing things. Melvina decided not to sit idle after she quit working and in her 60s she began to use her talents to oil paint. She has done an oil painting for each of their grandchildren for wedding presents. She also enjoys playing the organ Mr. and Mrs. Winter have four children: Jeanne DeLaMare and Gae Duersch of Salt Lake; Joyce Petersen of Pleasant Grove and Lee Anne Walker of Burley, Idaho. The Winters are also proud grandparents of 22 grandchildren and 39 greatgrandchildren. Lee and Melvina now spend most of their time with family, their hobbies and they are active in many LDS church and civic organizations. $& Mr. and Mrs. Edward Louis Rufener Temple Vows Unite Maathuis And Rufener of Edward Louis Rufener on July 18 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
