The presentation was witnessed by several hundred Bacchus employees. The award is presented to honor employees who have demonstrated significant achievement and or improvements in company established goals to reduce costly rework by doing work right the first time. Another Hercules location was one of the 17 named to receive this award. The Kenvil Plant, Kenvil, New Jersey was also honored. Hercules was one of only three companies to have more one plant cited. As part of the Thursday ceremonies, a Bacchus employee was honored as the first Bacchus recipient of the Zero Defects Craftsmanship Award. He is Ralph R. Milner of the Power Group, Works Engineering Department. The Craftsmanship Award is the next in line in the Air Force ZD Program and officials hope ot qualify for a plant craftsmanship award next year.
