Cautions Youths on Securing Hunting Licenses The Utah Department of Fish and Game estimates that some 6,000 juveniles who expect to go hunting this fall have yet to qualify for a hunting license by passing the gun training-safet- y course required by law. With the beginning of the 1961 hunting season only weeks awal, department spokesmen reminded all e juvenile hunters toenroll in the nearest hunter safety school and complete the training required by Utahs hunter safety law. The law requires any first-tim- e purchsear of a hunting license under the age of 21 years to complete this training course, or its equivalent All juvenile under 17 years of age must complete this course and show a certificate in evidence of same when applying for a hunt first-tim- ing license. Juvenile over the age of 16 years must present the required certificate, its equivalent such as ROTC, Basic Military, or National Rifle Association training, of their hunting license from the previous year. The department said instructors are available and classes being given in communities throughout the state. This state agency conducts a continuing program to teach and qualify certified instructors in all sections, with the recent qualifying of 115 new inctructors in south state communities bringing the total number to over 3,000 available Delton Lanes Plan Winter Leagues Winter bowling leagues are now being formed at the Delton Lanes in Granger. Play is scheduled to start the last week in August and the first week in 'September. Two leagues will bowl nightly except Saturday and Sunday. Also five or six leagues are planned for womens afternoon play. These leagues will bowl Monday or Tuesday at 1 p.m. and Monday at 3:30 pm. A new mixed doubles league is being formed to bowl at 5 p.m. Saturdays.
