V McDOUGAL'S FROSTOP The past, which includes more than a hundred presentations by outstanding popular and concert artists, will be represented by Renata Tebaldi. NORTHEAST The present will be represented by popular singing stars Shirley Jones and Keith Andes, concert pianist Jose Iturbi and ballet artists Maria Tallchief and Erik Bruhn, with Donald Voorhees and the Bell Telephone Orchestra. The future will be represented by a surprise preview of part of a Bell Telephone Hour scheduled for telecast later in the season. Marilyn Van Derbur will make her debut as a Bell Telephone Hour program hostess with And There Shall Be Music, but is already a familiar figure to the television audience. Marilyn started her career in television just before she completed a years reign as Miss America. She has been a spokes- woman for the Bell System Commercials and also TV hostess at the Atlantic City contest during the past two years. Miss Tallchief, a princess of the Osage Indians, is one of Americas leading ballerinas. Erik Bruhn, premier danseur of the Royal Danish Ballet, is considered one of the finest male dancers in classical ballet today. CHICKEN DINNER V FREE 10c ROOT BEER TAYLORSVILLE NEWS FANTASTIC Taylorsville Ward to Hold Welfare Banquet A welfare dinner for members of Taylorsville Ward will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 1961, at the wardhouse. All members under 14 will be serveed at 6:30 p.m. and those over 14 at 8 p.m. The price is 10 dollars per family. Steadmans orchestra will furnish music for free dancing and a free movie, will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel area. Several prizes will be awarded during the evening to those who are holding such winning tickets. Tickets will be sold by the Priesthood Quorums. Suburban Arts Meeting Scheduled DRASTICALLY REDUCED SAVE TO The Suburban Arts Club of Taylorsville will hold its monthly meeting next Monday evening, January 9th, at the home of Mrs. Louise Hall, 5020 So. 1130 West Mrs. Carolyn Maxwell will review parts of the book, Hawaii by James Michener.
