We hope they are successful in their coming games. TjQIG A Mother and Daughter program was held at the Bennion Ward Sunday, Nov. 13. It was under the direction of the MIA. The stake presidency was present. The theme of the program was Love. Strength in the schools for. '60 was used as their title of the week. A luncheon was served Thursday, Nov. 10, between 12:15 and 12:45 for teachers and school personnel. Nov. 10 was also known as teacher appreciation day. The luncheon was prepared and served by Mrs. Fern Thompson, PTA president; Mrs. Elaine Kerns, vice president; Mrs. Bee Baker, secretary; Mrs. Joyce Peterson, treasurer. Each teacher was presented a thank you note attached to a big red apple to thank them for all their services they have performed in school. There were about 40 people in attendance. Final Weeks of Adult Education Looms The last two weeks of the adult education grade level workshop will be held Nov. 21 for the 5th grade and Nov. 28 for the 6th grade. All parents of children In Granger Elementary School are urged to attend this meeting and become aware of the progress that their child is expected to make according to each individual child.
