Mrs. Alta Thornton is going to be the teacher. The hours will be from 9 till 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday mornings. Cost of the kindergarten will be $10 per month and 25 cents a week for milk. The theme for the program will be The Secret of Christmas. It is considered to be one of the best assemblies to be presented during the year. The Cyprus High swim group will participate in a swim meet to be held at Tooele the afternoon of ' Thursday, December' 17th. Friday, December 18th, the Pay-so- n Lions will meet the Cyprus team at Magna. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. Cyprus won their game with West last week by just one point with a score of 41 to 40. The FHA Club, Future Homemakers of America, held their Christmas party at the school Wednesday at 7 p.m. The program under the direction of Peggy Clark, club president, featured a white elephant exchange and games followed by light refreshments. Magna Chamber Elects Officers Owen F. Coon, 4815 Memory Lane, was last week elected to the position of president of the Magna Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Coon will take office Jan. 1, with other newly elected officers. ' Mr. Coon is manager of the Central Lumber Co. in Magna. Other elected officers are George E. Allen, vice president and manager of J. C. Penney store; Dr. Carlyle Munk, George F. Cromar and Howard Ridge, are the new directors. Incumbent directors are Harold Wacker, H. T. Dyches and Henry Mori.
