Friend who has over 20 years of experience in preaching and teaching the Bible. For some time he broadcasted the uniform Sunday School lessons. This series of studies will be held p.m., Sunday evenings at 7:45-8:4- 5 Nov. 15 through Dec. 6. The studies will be in the Old Testament. If enough interest is show a series from the New Testament will be taught in January. All church workers, prospective members and persons interested in the study of the greak book regardless of denomin- al affiliation are invited to attend. Contributes To Vets Fund The Kearns American Legion Auxiliary have made their annual donation to the fund raised for the patients of the veterans hospitals, so that the veterans may purchase or make Chrismas gifts for their families. Members of various auxiliaries will gift wrap the presents for the patients and then send them on to their destinations. This is an annual affair and project to help the patients show, their loved ones they still care even though many are hospitalized for a long time. C.D. Garden Club Alpha Kappa Will Hold Meeting Chapter The David Gourley Jr. Garden To Hold Meet Club will hold its monthly meeting, Friday, Nov. 13 in the multipurpose room of the school at 3:30 p.m. Mr. Harold Rushton, president of the Green Thumbers, will discuss and demonstrate the proper planting and care of geraniums. The Health and Sanitation committee will also hold their meeting on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the same school, and will continue to hold their meetings in the Oquirrh Hills school every other Thursday after at 8 p.m. Their survey and research deals with adequate water supply and rates and the problems of sewage disposal. The two cyclists collided at excessively high speeds at approximately a 45 degree angle. Injured were Dennis Johnson, 19, 8655 W. 3150 So., Magna. He sustained a basal skull fracture and cuts and abrasions when thrown over 141 feet, without the protection of a helmet. He was listed in critical condition at the St. Marks Hospital. The other person injured was Frank Albert Shipler, 24, 957 Signora Dr., Salt Lake City. He also received serious injuries when he was thrown 182 feet. He is receiving treatment for head and back injuries at the Holy Cross Hospital. According to Utah highway patrolman, Chester Wright, the Johnson cycle was thrown 141 feet and the Shiplar cycle 156 feet.
