At 4 p.m. on that day, the Kearns 6th Ward will have an auction, featuring many different items and selections. The event will take place at the new 6th Ward house, 4284 West 5215 South. All trticles will be on dsplay the evening before or on the afternoon of Sept. 12. Organization Heads, Representatives Meet Heads and representatives of the various organizations of Kearns met last' Saturday at the Kearns Lanes to hear a discussion by Mr. J. D. Williams of the University of Utah, on the Community Development program. All present at the meeting knew of the project although some had not attended steering committee meetings. Therefore the items talked over by Mr. Williams, clarified the project to those not fully acquainted with the project details. Out of the eight districts of the CD program of Kearns, it is amazing that such a large percentage of the population feel that the project can and should help the community to iron out its many probof the residents lems.
