Miss Renee Wyatt, to Gilbert H. Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs O. L. Peterson of Feters-borThe ceremony took place in San Diego, Cahf, July 18, with a double ring ceremony. Vows were read by Chaplain John W. Bond, USNR, at the home of Mr. and Mrs W. L. Peterson, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom. Ruth Ellen Feter-sowas bridesmaid and Howard H. Peterson acted as best man to the bridegroom. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to members of the bridal party and friends. Both young people have attended school in Logan and Mr. Peterson a former student of the USAC and is at present electricjflns mate third class in the U, S. Navy. Prior to the bride's leaving for San Diego she was honored at a shower at the home of her mother and given by Mrs. Wyatt, Mrs Wayne Smith and Miss Billy Wyatt. Miss Roselyn Ward, Miss Shirley Larsen and Georgene Doutre gave a shower for the bride at the Ward home A slumber party and breakfast was given honoring the bride by Miss Venice Weston and Miss Thelda Larsen at the o. n is-al- Motel Crystal Mr Peterson is in the overseas service and Mrs Peterson has returned to reside with her parents. Rosalie McLeod A marriage of interest to Cache Valley was mid-summ- that of Lt. Oliver Way man and Rosalie McLeod which took place in the Logan Temple July 26. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs. I. B. Ames of Ogden. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stak-le- y McLeod of Sumter, S. C. Mr. McLeod is president of the Sumter branch of the Church. Lieutenant Way man was active in Church work in Logan Stake, He has fulfilled a mission for the Church and is a former student of the ISAC. While living in Logan he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Harold Scholes, who now resides in Salt IaKe. He has been in active service in the Aleutian Islands.
