Arizona., Colorado, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington. The Hawaiian station will carry the proceedings on a delayed ,basis. It is expected that most of the same radio stations will carry all or parts of the general sessions Monday and Tuesday. The General Conference actually, begins on Saturday, April 3, with the general priesthood session at 7 p.m. in the Tabernacle. General sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and.2 p.m. on each of the three days, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. President McKay will preside at the conference, assisted by his counselors; President Stephen L Richards and President J. Reuben Clark Jr. Speakers at the sessions will Include all of the General Authorities, who are expected to be in attendance. One vacancy exists among the members of the Council of the Twelve, oceqoned by the death of Elder Matthew Cowley last December. It is anticipated this vacaney will be filled by the appointment of a new Apostle when the Authorities are sustained on Tuesday. Precedent has established that the sustaining of officers be on the anniversary of the organisation of the Church, April 6. Mission Presidents Attend Mission presidents presiding over missions in the United States. Canada, Mexico and Central America.will attend the conference upon invitation of the First Presidency. The presidents will be among the first arrivals for conference next week. They will be in Salt Lake City for a meeting with the General Authorities Friday morning in the Salt Lake Temple.
