Peterson, first LDS teacher on the faculty. One of the new dormitories was named the Andrew C. Peterson - - - to the During the services the 'dedicatory forther teacher was paid by College President William W., Tinsley. Of his former faculty member the president said. "For over 50 years, Professor Peterson devoted his energies to counseling, correctintr' instructing and encouraging young people. His services were sought after both in tittles of Joy and distress." Among his teaching experienCes Professor Peterson was on the faculty of the former Gila College, now Eastern Arizona Jun College at Thatcher, where among his former stu-- , dents and graduates were Elder Spencer W.- Kimball, of the COUilbil of the Twelve; Dr. Henry Eyring, of the U. of U.- faculty; Judge Levi S.,Cdall of the Arizona Supreme Court, and President Jesse A. Udall of the California Mission. When Andrew C. Peterson became a member of the faculty of the Flagstaff school there was a small LDS Sunday School, conducted by a few students. Through his efforts they secured the auditorium and later the music roóli1 of the college in which to meet. Bentley takes ovet responsibilities of Zomp- troller of the BTU.
