Brown left Salt Lake City Friday morning for Nauvoo, 111., where they were to receive and inspect proposals being made to the First Presidency for restoration of the historic Mormon city on - the banks of the Mississippi. Meeting with the two Counselors win be Harold P. Fabian "Utah Park and ' Relation' chairman and newly appointed chairman of the Advisory Board on National Parks,' Historic Sites, Buildings and Monuments, a division of the Department of Interior; Conrad Wirth, director of the National Parks Service; E. A. Kendrew, vice president and architect in charge, of the restoration of Colonial Williamsburg, Va.; Willard R. the Stake and Marriott, former president-o- f v owner of the Hot Shoppes; and Dr, J,Washington LeB6y Kimball of Balt Lake who, with Mr. Fabian has carried, Oh Initial survey work in Nauvod Mr. Fabian proposes to the First Presidency .that Nauvoo be restored to become a proper base from which to tell the Mormon Story and the Mormon contribution to the building of the West.
