Attend The Westminster Halloween Dance Friends You are guaranteed to have a ball at the Halloween Dance, one of the numerous events put on by the Student Activities Commission. From the eccentric costumes, safety party bus, and the balloon drop, this will surely be a night you are going to need your friends to remind you of in years to come. Relationships are key in college. These are some of the people that become your lifelong friends. Go and visit a student favorite, Sugar House Coffee, and close the place down! You may have an assignment and due the next day, but with free Wi-large tables you can study and catch up with friends at the same time. Sugar House Coffee is open until midnight and located on 1100 East and 2011 South. Fi 2. Find the Best View of Campus As Griffins, we have already discovered how beautiful our campus is, but have you found a view thats your own personal favorite? Whether its from the fourth floor of the Meldrum Science Center or sitting in the Shaw Student Center looking up at Converse Hall, go and find your best view! Hang Out With Aunt Em Just admit it, were all over achievers at Westminster College-th- at is what makes us great! Who doesnt want to make a debut on an admissions pamphlet, or have their face on the side a building? The easiest way to attain Westminster fame is by making sure you Aunt Em is constantly watching over all of us as we head to classes, SAC events and running to Shaw before they close. Take a seat by her, dress her up for the Halloween Dance and bring her a scarf for the bitter Utah winters. Shes always there to sit down and chat with westminsterslc. Kiss The George Washington Head S r Westminster is full of mysteries and this one is a big component of one of the oldest buildings here on campus. Not only do they perform frequently in our own Vieve Gore Concert Hall located in the Jewett Center for the Performing Arts and Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory, but are after numerous performing trips. This past May, known world-wid- e they toured through Europe! Start a Club, become an ASWC Senator or join the Outdoor Program. Westminster students are some of the most adventurous and inspiring individuals. You could be sitting next to an Olympian, a Beauty Queen, or one of the many international students that attend Westminster so take the time to meet someone from our eclectic culture. This can seem intimidating, but take it as empowering. Get out and do something, get to know someone and make a change that empowers your fellow griffins. |
