The dream to create a restaurant that is affordable, popular and craved is hard to achieve. Owners David Harries and Helene and Chuck Loyd have achieved this. These qualities have given birth to Vinto, found in both SLC and Park City. Vinto opened its doors in September 2009. It offers upscale aesthetics and a modern atmosphere. It combines the locally-owne- d one-of-a-ki- nd elegance of fine dining with a superior quality of ingredients while being casually priced. Food and drinks are served quickly--drin- ks often arrive at the table before the server leaves. This is achieved through an "order-maordering system: a Wi-Fi n" device that processes all orders and credit card payments right at the table, while in the hands of the server. Vinto is unique compared to other Salt Lake restaurants because of the eye- catching atmosphere, said Christian England, Vinto server. Our serpentine booths are uniquely designed to be soundproof. Vinto creates their menu from fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and prepared daily. Some of their famous specialties include the meatball appetizer, mushroom and herb artichoke a. heart pasta and the Mediterranean in-hou- se pia-din- Staff Reporter The countdown to spring break has begun.
