Users have a profile where they can add pictures, post videos and share updates. An important feature of the profile is the tagline, which allows users to describe themselves in a short sentence. The tagline should include keywords that might show up in job searches. Linkedln also functions as an electronic resume. People can post projects theyve worked on along with their awards, education and past work experience. Along with job activity, users can write recommendations for one another and also give endorsements, which are a way to verify if someone has a specific skill like writing, managing or designing. The messaging system allows people to network with each other, join groups and keep up to date by following company and school pages. Instead of friends or followers, Linkedln has connections.
