They have been serving the Salt Lake valley with boutique hand roasted coffee and tea for over five years. They sell intelligentsia whole bean and ground coffee by the pound. In the summer they have a small variety of gelatos. The atmosphere is modem industrial, with high ceilings and a concrete floors. They dont have a lot of furniture except for a high top table, two couches, a few round tables, and an arcade game tucked in the comer. The walls are decorated with a variety of artwork from local artists. A new artist is featured every month, and a reception is held every third Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the Gallery Stroll held throughout summer. They have a small menu that offers coffee, chai, tea, assorted pastries and toast. Their selection is slim and pricy. They have three sizes to choose from. Prices range from $1.25 to $5. The cups seem small, and the prices are high, said customer Chris Nelsen. They have a total of five employees and it seems like they only have one on staff during business hours. I dont necessarily come for the service or the coffee, but its a chill place to relax and catch up on some reading, said customer Steve Yerman. The sunlight makes a big difference, too. Theres lots of windows and I like that. Nostalgia, like other coffee shops, offers a range of different caffeinated and beverages. Unlike all other coffee places, Nostalgia stands out when it comes to prices. Our stuff is the cheapest in town, says Dygert. Our tea and coffee is by far the 248 E.
